Now that you have managed to increase the value of the land and you will want to sell it. It is always a good idea to sell the land once your investment goals are satisfied. Some lands, you will want to buy cheaply and then sell it quickly for a higher price. It is call “flipping”.

Some times flipping is very profitable. For e.g. you bought a land for $4000 and sold in for $5000 after two months. It means you made $1000 profit over $4000 investment in two months. This means it had a 150% annual rate of return. It is not a good investment sense to hold on to a land after it has reached your investment goal. The money is tied up, so it is better to sell and reinvest the money in a new parcel of land and repeat the process over again.
